My name is Susan Gallagher and I’m a web consultant based in Dublin, Ireland. I help brands and businesses all over Ireland with their online strategy for their business. I also design and develop websites and web applications, logos and identities and print materials.
Experience
I have 10 years industry experience in web development and user interface design. I’ve worked for both large companies as a software engineer (IBM) and smaller companies on online strategy after graduating with a BSc. in Computer Applications. I began work as a freelance consultant after completing a BA in Design. I’ve helped businesses across the country develop successful branding and online strategy. What I do
I love both web and graphic design and enjoying developing online strategies for SMEs, individual and charities. I can create a specification for your website or complete the whole project from idea to final site. I’ll also work with your on your branding and print material to create a cohesive plan that works online and offline. I have worked on projects of all sizes from simple one-page websites to much larger sites with complex functionality and content management systems. I’ll also advise you on your online marketing to make sure you get the most from your new website. Once your project is complete I can even look after your website and online marketing for you, leaving you free to do what you do best.
How I do it
I develop primarily in standards compliant XHTML, PHP and CSS. I also work with PHP, MySQL and JavaScript. I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for graphic design work. I love WordPress and I’ve developed many WordPress themes including custom plugins for my clients. I develop websites that clients can look after themselves.
